Ol’ Jacks Rabbit & Guinea Pig Micro Pellets
Ol’ Jacks Rabbit & Guinea Pig Micro Pellets is a complete diet that requires no other supplementary feeding. This palatable and nutritious food contains added vitamins and minerals including vitamin C, which is an essential nutrient for guinea pigs.
Provide a constant supply of good quality fresh grass and grass hay or chaff (this should comprise about 80% of the overall diet) – e.g. Oaten, Meadow or Wheaten.
Rabbits should not be fed Lucerne (alfalfa) and keep limited to young or under weight rabbits.
Provide plenty of fresh leafy greens & vegetables (10-20% of overall diet). As a guide, feed around two packed cups of leafy greens per kg body weight per day. Some examples are vegetables such as broccoli, celery, endive, beet/carrot tops, Brussel sprouts, spinach leaves, bok choy, other Asian greens, dark leafed lettuce varieties and herbs such as parsley, dandelion, coriander, basil, dill, and mint.
Feed ad lib. along with cool, clean, fresh water.
Do not make sudden changes in diet as digestive problems may occur.
Grass and hay may be fed along with Ol’ Jacks Micro Pellets if desired.
Ol’ Jacks Rabbit & Guinea Pig Pellets are formulated from a selection of the following ingredients:
Clover, lucerne (alfalfa), barley, triticale, wheat, oats, rice, lupins, peas, beans, lentils, canola, soya, sunflower and products derived from the above. Vegetable oil, lignin, di-calcium phosphate, limestone, bentonite, salt, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan and antioxidant.
Vitamins: A, C, D3, E, K, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pantothenate (B5), pyridoxine (B6), B12, niacin, folic acid, choline and biotin.
Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium and zinc.
